A lot of people think Harrods is just a posh expensive department store full of tourists and whilst they're partially right about the tourists (at certain times of the year) you can actually pick up some fantastic bargains and it's nice to be in a store where the staff can never seem to do enough to help you. Plus, you seem to be able to buy absolutely anything you could possibly desire!
Anyway, we started off in the toy department and picked up a few last minute pressies for the boys. Right beside here is Santa's Grotto and would you believe it, they had some spare tickets! Never ones to miss out on a photo opportunity, we had to go and visit the big man.
Next, we stopped for some lunch. The boys had pasta and broccoli, which actually rated fairly highly in our league table of 'places to take the boys to eat'. Decent high chairs too. After that, the boys had a nap, whilst we wandered round the Sound and Vision department.
A few more departments later (including a wander through the food hall where we bumped into The Cheeky Girls) and we needed another break. By now, it was about time for afternoon tea so we went to one of the restaurants for a cup of tea and a scone - Yum! Even the boys enjoyed the scones!
The boys had clearly grown bored of sitting in their pram now so we thought it was about time to go home. A short drive, an hour or so of running and crawling round the house and it was time for dinner and in bed by 7pm.
Night boys! Not long till Santa's going to be here!
