The boys now like to climb the stairs themselves on their way to bed. We like it too because it wears them out a little bit more in advance of sleepy time...
Jon and Clair have twin boys called Theo and Charlie! This is their blog from their first scan picture to their latest tantrum...

Out for a walk with Charlie
I think we've reached a transition point. Theo and Charlie are getting more and more unhappy just sitting in their buggy now. During a shopping trip today, Charlie just wouldn't stop crying so, Clair took him out of the buggy and walked with him for a bit. I took some video (see below) whilst pushing Theo.
All well and good when there are the two of us, but we've yet to figure out what to do when Clair goes out on her own. A pair of reins like this maybe? All we need is a sled and we could have our own team of huskies... :-)

A Foodie Valentines Day!
We went for a trip up to Borough Market today. A foodie haven near London Bridge. It's an amazing place with stalls full of the most varied and gorgeous food.
Now, I have to say though, it's not the most child friendly of places - especially as we got nearer to lunch time and the crowds got thicker. Navigating a double buggy across cobbled pavements whilst being surrounded on all sides by people wasn't particularly pleasant and the boys soon let us know that they weren't happy. I even started to undertake a forward guard action - although stopped short of crying out 'Mind your backs please!'
Anyway, by the time we got to 11:15, the boys had had enough and we gave up and went for lunch. Challenge #2. finding somewhere for lunch that serves 'lunch' before midday! We ended up in Cafe Nero and fed the boys a couple of sandwiches, a muffin and some fruit.
By the time we left there, the crowds in the market were absolutely heaving but, true to form, the boys had a little nap in the buggy and we wandered round a few more stalls before setting off home.

Early Waker, Trouble Maker...
For the last few nights, Theo's got himself in the habit of waking at 5am or 6am with no inclination of going back to sleep. It's wearing us down a bit and is forcing us to go to bed earlier and earlier each night!
This week, we've been in bed at 8:30pm, 9pm, 9:30pm, 10pm and the latest was last night at 11:30pm (but we'd been out so that didn't count).
Pleeeeaasee Theo, get back into your normal routine soon!

Twin Spin
Our washing machine almost seems to be on constantly all week. We were slightly surprised when the boys showed such an interest in the spin cycle!
