The day started with a 'semi' lie-in to 07:30 (methinks we won't be getting away with this as they get older and start to get excited at looking forward to Christmas morning!). After breakfast, the boys (with a little help from Mum and Dad) opened their presents. These included lots of toys, books etc. and (our fave present) a MASSIVE hippo bean bag!
The boys then got themselves into their Christmas outfits and we drove over to Aunty and Uncle's house for the day.
We normally feed the boys about midday on a normal day and if we're a bit late, they don't hold back with letting us know they're hungry. So, we gave them a little sandwich when we got there so they would hold out until Christmas dinner. When dinner was served, the boys did us proud with eating up all (well, apart from the odd bits that were thrown to the floor) their carrots, peas, brussell sprouts, turkey and parsnips. Good lads!
An afternoon of playing with their toys, grabbing decorations off Aunty's 'less than baby safe' Christmas tree, cuddles and play with other family members and it was time to leave to head home for bath and bed time.
A tired and exhausted Mum and Dad then collapsed on the sofa to catch up on the days TV.
Here's a selection of snaps from the day.
