Holiday High Chair High Jinx

Here are the boys enjoying themselves in their fancy ($20 each) high chairs from Ikea. Yes, that Scandinavian retailer of cut price homewares has even taken over the good old U. S. of A!

We looked into hiring two high chairs for the holiday but it would have cost TWICE as much as these did. Looking at their smiles, I think we made the right choice. We just won't be bringing them home on the plane!

That is SUCH a lovely picture, they are so happy! I loved the one of them in the buggy in front of your car as well, they look like they are chatting to each other.

I don't think I have ever commented on your blog before (apologies if I am wrong) but I have really loved seeing your journey with the boys.

One tip on the highchairs if you are going to be travelling much in the next 18 months is to buy fabric ones. I think I got ours from Mothercare but as my son is nearly 5 now I am not sure. Basically you strap them onto the back of a normal chair and it means you can use them in cafes or on holiday and so on. They fold up really small, I used to carry my son's in his changing bag.

Best wishes
