Barbados Part 2

So, we're a week and a half into our holiday so here are some more pics below. The full set of photos can be found here including many pictures not shown below...

Welcome to Barbados!

We've arrived here and after a minor hiccup in the hotel, have settled into our hotel.

Today, Charlie has loved sitting at the edge of the sea whilst the waves lap over his legs, Theo has loved jumping  in to the pool and we have loved the boys spending the morning in the kids club!

Someone was worn out at nursery this morning!

First Day at Nursery - Sniff, Sniff.....

Oversized jumper - Check!
School bag packed - Check!
Black shoes - Check!
Unusual spikey bed-hair - Check!

It can only mean one thing, the boys first day at proper nursery. We had a settling in afternoon yesterday and the boys loved it (I'm not sure they even realised we were still there), but today was the start of the real thing.

It felt very strange walking up to the school with all the other mums and dads - we felt like the newbies - as if we didn't belong in this new process that will last for another 13 years!

Spidey and Birdy

The boys had their first exposure on Saturday to the 'parent trap' that is face painting!

Charlie chose a Spiderman look and Theo wanted a bird. From the look of it, Charlie got the better value :-)

We had this done at Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent. Slightly disappointed at the lack of visible animals but the boys (as always) had fun in the kiddies playground...

Pee Pee, Poo Poo - Charlie No No

The struggle that is potty training Charlie continues. Quite what made us think that twins would be aligned enough to potty train at the same time, I have no idea. Theo has been dry for months having taken no more than 4 days to fully train!

Charlie is slowly getting there but it is definitely on his terms and no one elses. He's getting into a bit of a routine now - needing to be sat on the toilet morning and evening for an 'extended visit'.

Fingers crossed he continues to get the hang of it.

Where's my Balloon?

Whilst we were in Wales last weekend, we frequented a 'well known takeaway restaurant' for lunch.

Like most kids, the boys love a balloon, unless Mummy decides it's a good idea to open the sunroof and let the balloons go....

A Mini Mini Break

We spent just over 24 hours on a 'mini mini' break to Wales last weekend. Clair's family have a farm in Llanelli so, via an overnight stop off at the Celtic Manor, we visited them on Saturday. The boys loved feeding (ie. chasing) the chickens, playing on the tractors and generally harassing any animals within their grasp! Here's some pics. You can see more by clicking here.

We're just back from Florida and whilst I process a set of pics for the blog, here's a quick one of the boys as their alter-egos.

All that sunshine has made them grow considerably. Not sure I approve of the guns at this age though...
